Can't find a general question section, would like to ask for some thoughts ……

At the moment, in the game that we're involved in the party is in Middenheim, which 3 or so weeks earlier was under siege by a chaos army.

The party needed to find evidence to save an innocent person (and someone who had saved the party's life earlier), which we did. In the encounter the Dwarven Veteran took the head of one of the creatures killed in retrieving the evidence. When we returned, the trial had been brought forward and was underway sorpresa.gif , and we had a mob to struggle through.

So your thoughts on this:-

If the dwarf got the monsters head out of the sack and waved it around in one hand, with his still bloody axe in the other, shouting "angry dwarf with a sharp axe COMING THROUGH!!" What would you much more experienced GM's say the response would have been?

If it's just a trial, it's likely they would have had a formal presentation of evidence. If a character is acting outside social norms, then it's likely they'd humor him as mentally ill, pat him on the head and promptly ignore the evidence when he left the room (just like in the real world).

I think it sounds like a fun game though!

What is the mob composed of? As a GM, and assuming the mob was commoners … they would probably scream and begin to scatter or pull back from the dwarf. Meanwhile, the judicial guards would probably draw their weapons and advance on the dwarf.
