Tyrion LOTR abuse

By mbm, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

passive ability:

all knelt clansman participate in the challenge with Tyrion.

first question:

The clansman count their STR or only the relevant STR (military, intrigue, power).

ie - shaga cant join for intrigue challenge

second question:

If i attach Tyrion with tourney lance - he gains Joust.

Joust means that when he attacks alone, there can be only 1 defender.

so

2.1) Can Tyrion stealth and Joust at the same time? (i was wondering about those skill combos)

2.2) After the defender was declared, knelt clansman still participate in the challenge? (contradicting the Joust keyword, but its in his text)

Our guess was:

1) relevant str

2.1) possible

2.2) participate

So you are saying that if Tyrion has the Joust keyword, it will not be able for use if there is a knelt clansman in play?

Just a connect some of the dots for Khudzlin's answer to #1: the knelt clansmen are brought into the challenge by Tyrion's ability instead of being declared as an attacker or defender. Since they are brought into the challenge by the card effect, their icons don't matter (since the card effect itself doesn't reference icons). It seems a little weird, but Tyrion brings his Clansmen with him, even into places they couldn't go on their own.
