resourceful

im interested in knowing what sort of success people are having with this. yes they cost 4, but they are neutral, so in effect if you start with say 2 in your hand you could have the first out by round 2, then gaining 4 resources the next turn, you could play the next. not too bad i guess, especially all on the same hero and with steward on said hero….giving you 5 resources per turn on a single hero.

if people are having success are they finding games are lasting long enough to see the benefits?

I only use them in secrecy decks, in which they help a lot. In "normaI" decks I rather play two or three 2 cost allies instead of maiximizing my profit. Early allies help you to keep control both staging area and engaged enemies. Also, most of my games last between 7-12 eounds, so Resourceful wouldn't help me too much. Better you build a deck that is able to bring out some early cards without extra resources. Final point against Resourceful: it takes away the slot for other, more valuable cards.

Yeah, I threw these in a non-secrecy deck thinking they would come in handy, but I never seem to want to waste the resources, then by the time I can play them I don't need them anymore. I guess I could get a more resource-requiring deck, but I don't really see the point.

I use them with Elron and Vilya. Worth it in a non secracy deck if you don't have to pay the price.

I've found that resourceful can be useful in a multiplayer situation. Typically I'll try to attach it to the tactics player as early on as possible so they can play more cards to help fend off enemies while I focus on questing/healing/threat mitigation/shadows/when revealed etc.

I havent' tried it for awhile in a solo deck, but I may have to include it and see what it does for me.

Resourceful really useful in Coop Games. For example 1 player have steward of Gondor ogther player Resourceful. Then 1 player play SOG on other player heroes and other player have enough resources to play resourceful on 1 player hero. Really like it.
