Gitzman's Basic Creature Action Sheet

By Disgruntled Owl, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I found this immensely helpful sheet recently when someone kindly pointed me to Gitzman's Gallery but found it was out of date.

It there an updated version?

Is there a good alternative?

i am on writing a massive campaign atm and so i redescovered the creature guide for myself.

in the back of the book all action are listed and there is also a very useful chart with all the monsters, their wound threshold, abilities and everything you would need.
so i decided to scan those sheets and include them with the pages of my campaign whenever needed. it might be a little more work than just a reference sheet, but the game runs fluently when you do so. i never have to look anything up anymore.

for the GM screen i printed out a very useful chart that is available somewhere here on the forums. on that chart you find ANYTHING a GM might ever ask for in terms of gameplay, conditions, recovery etc etc etc

I'd like to see a version of this uploaded with more than just the token ones that FFG slapped together and summarized by fans. I think we need a REAL list for this stuff with suggestions for others (instead of me having to sorth through 800 cards to find the perfect fit).

Shortly I will post my NPC list of action cards.

@Emirikol: Ithink I already send it to yo.

The problem is that there won't be ever a single (or even only two) list of action cards for NPCs. Since FFG didn't set and standard, it has become something totally personal upon the GM. I am pretty sure that if you sit in 5 different tables of wfrpg 3 to fight against orcs, the level of lethality will change wildly in function of the taste of the GM for the action cards given to the NPCs.

There will be if we put one out there. Liber Fanatica 10 is soon to be in the works. I think cleaning up a lot of our current fan productions and putting them in there would be fantastic. This is one of those things that I'd like to see immortalized for all time (rather than eventually lost).

Yes, thanks for sending me yours :)

These are the Excel sheets I use to run my encounters. When I throw and encounter to my players on the fly, I just drag the sheets I need to a new Encounter excel file where I have the NPC party sheet, morale bar etc. I use it on a Mac, so I can imagine that you will find some incompatibility problems.

The NPCs have been balanced versus Johann Schmidt, a common Imperial Soldier. Those who played 2nd edition will recognize him. The file contains some house rules. Not for the soft harted.

Great work as always.

Good? job, that must have been hard work.

Well I agree, it was hard work, but I still have to weighten if it is good work :)

I started doing these kind of sheets for my encounters (beastmen, greenskins, skaven, chaos etc.), and at some point I decided to recopilate them in a big excel file. For the sake of completeness I did the rest of creatures, many of them I have never used in games only in "hipothetical combats.

So far this file has helped me alot to speed up the preparation of my encounters.
