The witches song and making my PC's lives miserable.

By Crazy Aido, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

So I've had an idea that I wanted to run for a while.

Basically, I thought about starting a campaign in the dirtiest dirt hole in the old world. Where everyone is an inbred bumpkin, and you can't move without sticking your foot knee-deep in swamp-water. The biggest weapon in the town is likely a frog-spear.

Originally I was thinking of starting said campaign in Mousillin. But I rather think a village from the witches song might suit much better. So from the people who have said campaign, good idea or nay?

The Witches Song village along with the "bumkins" from The Gathering Storm and you will be golden!

I'm currently prepping "The Dying of the Light" for my players. Although linear (it needs some illusion of choice), it takes place throughout Marienburg and the wastes southwest.

Might be worth looking into for your group. I'm going to be posting a skeleton outline of the scenario synopsis very soon.

Terrible idea Aido as we are running Witches Song next and I don't want you to know anything about it! After we run it I will revoke my initial opinion and replace it with "good idea". The witches song peasants aren't really heavily inbred however they do live in oppresive circumstances and have incredibly low morale. They actually live in a semi legit town but they are not hugely bumpkins,

I would copy the inbred gathering storm family multiply them out to extended family, put them in a hamlet and place said hamlet in the middle of the cursed marshes. The family at the start of deliverance would be good inspiration for you.

I might actually put them through a mod of Lure of the Liche Lord. It'd be an easy enough thing to just drop them in the badlands…
