Hi there. I have a question about the card Scouting Vessel.

The card says: Challenges: Kneel Scouting Vessel to choose a defending character. For the duration of the challenge, that character does not count its STR.

Can I trigger this ability in a challenge, where I'm not participating? So player A fights player B and I (player C) trigger this during their challenge?

Yes. There is nothing in the card text that says you have to be participating in the challenge.

And if you're doing that against a Martell, expect him to choose you when he plays Red Vengeance (the Martell player has to be the defender, but the event redirects claim to anyone, not restricted to the attacker).

Does this also work with the card Lethal Counterattack?

Lethal Counterattack: Challenges: During a military challenge, kneel 2 of your Stark characters to kill all attacking characters.
Limit 1 per challenge.

So Player A attacks Player B and Player C (Stark) kneels 2 of his charactrs and kills all attacking characters?

And when get the characters killed? During the challenge? So there is no resolve at the end? Or what is that with that moribound status?

Moribund doesn't enter into this at all, at least as far as resolving the challenge is concerned. Moribund would only matter if you had a Response effect to the event card being played or the characters being killed.

Take the scenario where a GJ player (player A) attacks another player (player B) who has the Crown Regent title for a POW challenge. Player A is attacking with a 4 STR character. Player B defends with one 3 STR character. As a player action, Player A uses the Scouting Vessel to ignore the 1 defending character's strength.

How does this challenge resolve? Is it still considered unopposed since Player B has no base strength to apply the +3 to?
