I assume that you can enchance opponent's attack as well, but how would the +X damage modifier work after that?

It would work as follows. Your next attack this turn gets +X damage. If you do not play another attack this turn then then damage bonus is lost at the end of the turn.
My question is more along the line if I were to enhance one of my opponent's attacks.
you play play the enhance, it just wouldn't do anything.
this attack does not have a preceeding attack in your card pool. even if you block the attack to partial damage with an attack - the attack in your card pool does not preceed their attack.
Figured as much. Hoped there was a way around it. But I gather you still get to draw the card.
right, used on an opponent's attack, it becomes:
"e commit: if this attack deals damage, draw a card"

unless of course your opponent has another card in there card pool before this attack and you play a reversal

Actually not at all. The card says that x equals 4 minus the control of the attack preceding this one in YOUR card pool. Therefore no damage pump due to the fact that your opponent can't play attacks into your card pool.
stamp for dragoku! lol

...this card's ability would make absolutely no sense as a Form. You might be thinking of Domination? That's more than a little bit completely irrelevant to this thread.
Ah, that's right, Domination, thanks man.
