Campaign Book: Headway (Fanmade Supplement)

So, I did this in about two weeks on my free time. It needs tweaking, so its by no means the final draft or anything, nor will it be the last of these I do, but its out for those of you who want to incorporate tanks into your games.

Check it out here!

Check it out folks. It's really quite good.

Wow.

Color me impressed. It's very nice, very official looking. Could pass for official material intact, nice layout. I like the vehicles and the platoons.

Excellent work, I'll be bringing this to my playgroup and we'll definitely give it a shot.

Any reason you threw damage resilient around so often? Otherwise, great work.

I like the layout and feel of the book… the tanks look too powerful though… walkers are supposed to be the best vehicles in the game based off the new tech, the tanks you've listed seem to pwerful / cheaper in comparison… I wouldn't use walkers if those tanks were part of the official game.

Yes, because I felt they carried heavier armor than Walkers, but should be easier to damage. That translates to lower vehicle rating - meaning more weapons can do damage, but more dice to save against it

The layout was a lot of hard work - had to build it in Photoshop, because I don't have money (currently) for InDesign. As for balance, if you head over to the Dust-War.com forums, we have a thread on this Campaign Book that is a good place to post any tweak ideas, etc. When enough folks post revisions, I will fix it up and release a revised version with additional content (platoons, heroes, etc).

As a final caveat here, I didn't playtest and didn't shoot for balance. The point of them was to make fun, narrative aspects for casual games. None of this will ever be tournament legal, so it hardly matters. That doesn't mean I won't try to re-balance, just explaining why things might be a bit wonky out of the gate.
