This is a question for anyone who got one of the promotional miniatures from the retailer preview event July 6th - 8th.

How do you use the character in-game? The miniature is self-explanatory but the cards that came with it make no sense (I got "Jonas the Kind"). Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yeah, for some reason they gave us promo character figures but no stats to actually use them as part of the game.

But you can use the stat cards for many of their other fine products!

You will need the Conversion Kit. The other cards are probably for Runebound and Runwars.

Really? They gave out the promo figs as bonus prizes for a Descent 2e launch event, but they didn't include the 2e hero cards to go with them?

I'm surprised, FFG. I expect this sort of crap from other game companies, maybe, but not from you guys.

Yeah, I scored Nara the Fang at a Descent 2nd Ed preview, but as a newcomer to the game - who won't be buying the conversion kit - it was useless to me. However, the 1st Ed player I gave it away to was appreciative.
