Reason for Radagast?

Do you not have any of Darrowdelf yet Budgernaut? Would have though you would have em.

This is completely off topic and beyond my intentions for pointing out my signature, but it's not like this conversation was developing anyway.

Here's where I must confess. With SW coming out, I won't be able to do both LCGs, and I got to a point with my LotR collection where I feel like there are still plenty of plays left and lots of opportunity for me to try out different builds. I can have a lot of fun with the cards I have, so I'm gonna stop here for a while and check out SW when it comes out. If I don't like SW:TCG, the odds of which are approximately 3,720:1, then I'll pick up LotR again. But until I know for sure, I'm gonna save my money for where my heart is really at.

I still love this game and enjoy being a part of the community. I guess I'm just an example of how an LCG can encourage people to just get the packs they want. If I do pick up more packs, I'll probably go for The Hobbit: Overhill and Underhill, before I get the Dwarrowdelf cycle. And if I were to continue with LotR, I would still not have any yet because I'd be waiting to buy the whole cycle from an online retailer. That's what I did for Shadows of Mirkwood and it was really fun - though slightly overwhelming - to get all those cards at the same time.

I'm not sure how many people still go back and play the older quests, but doesn't Radagast's ability to heal creatures mean he can keep Gollum alive in Return to Mirkwood?

i think so…..was that ever ruled otherwise? i cant remember that far back

I can not remeber the card off the top of my head.. but he comes in as a ally so he is just like anything you cast.. so if he has creature written on him.. then you should be able to as far as I can see.

This reminds me.. i think it is time to try Journey to Rasgobel again now that healing herbs is out.

Radagast can heal Gollum yes.

And my choice: Radagast still very ok and i will use him in my Elrond eagles deck. Radagast+ word of command is very powerful combo!

I have a copy of Radagast in a Secrecy deck. First turn if Timely Aid pops him out I am a happy chappy!!

Now THAT is a brilliant combo :)

Bit of luck dependant though

Agreed,

The deck actually contains quite a few expensive allies that take advantage of timely aid. Getting out a Gandalf first turn is also awesome.
