I guess they scrapped the idea of patches.
This set has power tokens, a playmat, and some card stock house cards (looks like the regionals season ones)

•Glad they stopped the patches in favor of power counters, that seems way more awesome & useful.
•Unless that's just a production photo, those are not the same cards as Regionals cards- Stark had LoW Cat, Martell had TOC Doran, and Danerys was a different picture.

Interesting. The first time I checked the posted link, it brought me to the new gaming kit page. Now, it's doing exactly what you say it is.

As for the patches. While I didn't love them, it still annoys me that they stopped producing them after only 3 houses.
Any idea what the house tokens are made of? Some of them look like wood, others plastic.

I think they're double sided with red and white plastic.
the kits have 6 cards of each house X 8 sets = 48 cards?
god **** i am so happy to be done with those patches, new power tokens and multiple sets of house cards, i am so freaking pleased with this kit i cant even wait to get my hand on it, maybe if they start doing 2 sets of house tokens per box we can get baratheons crowned stag and fiery heart stag
Wow, that's an awesome box. For the first time in awhile some power counters I'm excited about. From first glance, these look like the 2010 regionals wooden tokens. I'll be less excited if they're plastic, but they're still pretty neat.

I think they are probably plastic, although I would be so happy if they were wood. Those are still my favorite power tokens.

The glass ones top my list, as do the original etched stone house cards.
Would love one, shame for some reason I can't see the page to buy one on the store's site.
