Card references

By Frosty the Pyro, in Descent: Journeys in the Dark

So anyway A freind of mine got decent after being impressed by how well constructed the Starcraft board game was (He had been eyeing decent for a while but wasnt convinced untill seeing other FFG work). We played a round but had to stop due to time constraints (lots of mistakes where made but we were learning and it was fun). So I have downloaded the rules and read through them (Amoung my circle I have the best head for remembering rules and how they interact, so it often falls to me to know the rules well enouph we dont have to stop and look things up). What I am wondering is if there is a way to get a copy of the skill/overlord/treasure cards to read over, both for my own curiosity and to identify questions my group may have ahead of time (my groups next meatin is in week and then we will be playing so not a good time for me to troubleshoot). I'll understand completely completely if the answer is no as I dont actualy own the game in questin.

You could find a reference sheet I'm sure for the skills on Boardgamegeek.

As for OL cards and Treasure, I don't think so but I could be wrong. I seem to remember seeing a reference sheet on the same site with some of it. For the most part, I would just become familar with the Special Abilities section of the book since many of the weapons grant those abilities.

Thank you, I was able to find skills and treasure and town shop and monster and hero card references, didnt find any for OL cards though, or any skills/treasure/monster for the expansions (thats fine though as my friend only has into the darkness)

Hi,

this Excel sheet from BGG has a list of Overlord deck cards (normal + treachery) and Avatar and plot upgrades: www.boardgamegeek.com/filepage/33009

It's only a summary of what each card does (plus exact costs and counts), but it's better than nothing and sufficient for planning purposes.

If someone has a similar reference to hero skills, I'd be most grateful...

Hi Frosty,

thanks for the link! That's exactly what I was looking for - don't know how I missed that. happy.gif
