Suggested order of play of the printed adventures?

By andersb25, in Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay

I want to ask for your advice in what order to best run the printed adventures (including those in the supplements like omens of war etc).

We will soon play an eye for an eye and then I will get the gathering storm as i understand that adventures links in good with an eye… But then?

Which adventures are for higher ranked pc? Which ones follows eachother most location wise? Please list them in the order you would run them?

What is happening here? My post looks weird? Anyway, want to ask about your suggested order of play of printed adventure, taking in to account recommended rank of pc and geographical location of the adventure. We will start with an eye for an eye and then gathering storm because from what I understand, those are somewhat linked. But then?

What rank is Gathering storm designed for?

Try looking in the game master section. There is a post in there entitled "build an adventure path" that has some detailed attempts to link the published adventures.

In simple terms a good start is eye for eye followed by gathering storm then return to Ubersreik for the edge of night. However it really depends on what suits your characters.

I am not sure WFRP adventures are designed for a particular rank so they generally will require tweaking to fit your characters. I played TGS with rank 2 characters and they barely survived. But them three of them were social characters with a toughness of 2. One of my other parties would have walked it at rank 1.

I'd start with The Gathering Storm, then eye for an eye.

Last scenarios: Edge of Night and Crimson Rain and the one in Hero's Call (late rank)

The Liber Fanatica scenarios can be mixed in wherever (although Revenant would be a better potential later-rank scenario).

Everything else in between.

Why this particular order, especially with TGS before EfaE?

I was meant to start running EfaE last weekend, but one of our players was missing, so I ran elements of EON (mostly the road-centred prequel and a handful of random events) and used that as how the remaining party members caught the attention of Ascaffenberg.

As a rough plan I think I was going to go DL:SS -> EfaE -> EON -> Mirror of Desire -> TGS or HoH -> Tzeentch adventure (I don't have it yet!) -> Witch's Song -> Khorne Adventure (forget the name) -> Art of Waaaaagh

Double post……………..

fwiw, I ran tGS, EfaE, EoN, Shadows over Bogenhafen (from 1st ed), tWS, CR, AoW!

Had HoH been available at the time I would have put it in after EoN. And I ran tWoC (The Tzeentch Adventure) separately as it didn't really fit in with what the party was doing at the time.

tGS and EfaE can be played in any order, and there's no reason to have one before or after the other, but doing them both before EoN helps tie stuff together.
