oder donovan, need some help

this is my mono order donovan deck, im having some troulbe getting it sorted out and running at peak effecency, any suggestions are welcome

so that is the deck, im looking for any suggestions on how to make it better. ive covered all the major issues alreay with it, but i cant seem to get the deck running at its peak so any help would be welcome

Id drop personal style for Experienced Combatant

Id also drop lynettes and a tag along for Amy's assistance x4

With LotM i never have a problem getting momentum, if you do nevermind but id drop the omnidirection cluster***** ...unfortunately no clue on what to put in its place. I run Mega Spike but mine is a dloop build. Id drop the other 3 tag alongs for 3 defenders if you want to go that route.

edit: another option is maybe to run Amys Assistance instead of cutting edge, its a 2/4 +1m instead of a 2/5 +2m but it have no minimum on dmg reduction

i had considered those routes, but personally i dont like defender, its to easy to stop, i did consider amy's but its a four check, which im trying to keep to minimum, but there really good ideas, ill look into it and try some of them out

well if you don't want to use d-loop thats fine, but i would definately run expierinced combatent. also i realy don't think you need lynete's so i would just go -3 lynetes, -1 tag along -1 omni directional cluster bomb, +4 expeireinced combatant, +1 olcadon's.

i also might sugest going with four reppas, becuase you gotta do something with all that momentum.

I was also thinking that i could go with lunar slash as a kill, then all the momentun gain would be worth it. i would use feline spike off of water, but i dont have any or have access to any. got any suggestions for a decent kill card other than the two i just mentioned. Also im looking for an awnser for how not to get diversified out at tournaments, any suggestions on that front

we'll i think nagase is the most underused (and best replacement). i can't realy think of any good kills other than lunar slash off order. if you go with slash, i would replace omnidirectional cluster bomb with it. i would also try to find room for n-type human, becuase it's just such a good card. also malicous intent is a great 0 dif card for this deck.

your right about nagase, as for malicious intent it a good suggestion, i never even thought about using it, ill try it out next time i playtest, which will be in about a week, other trhan that ill tune it until it works, thanks for all the suggestions

I d go for a playset of mega spikes, a good order throw that can deal for donovan's enhance. and with low speed.

Nope. Donny enhance is "If this attack is not blocked", not "if this attack deals dmg".

mega spike is huge for defender builds though :)

I'd say a good kill card is Sonic Boom EXTRA in this case. Nice static effect that restricts blocking which in turn interacts with Donovan. Also, a powerful attack so it has a use for your momentum generation as well. It is also a nice smoke screen shot because it draws out mid blocks that could potentially shut down any damage from Reppas. Could you take a look at my deck if you don't mind?

i never thought about sonic boom extra, i was thinking of using neo raging storm, but sonic boom extra is way better

-4 personal style, + 3 psycho style, +1 experinced cobatant

-2 tag along, +2 experinced combatant

- 1 lord of the makai, + 1 seal of cessation

-1 omnidirectional cluster bomb, +1 kuzuryu reppa

ill think about adding the sonic boom extra, it would give me the pop the deck needs and its static meshes nicely with donovans ability, thanks for the great suggestions, keep them coming

sonic boom extra is also a powerfull 2... i would keep lotm, and take out another cluster bomb.

i dont agree, im useing cluster bomb for its action side also, its retarded in the deck, ive tested it with the new cards and it works really well, but i will try it anyway

well then take something else out, just keep 4 lotm.
