The following situation arose

Baratheon were battling Lannister in a Joust game and Baratheon did a power challenge on Lannister for a total of 15

Two questions have arose :

Lannister defended whilst INCLUDING Tyrion F7 which states that Clansman characters you control are also particapting in that challenge on the same side.

1) Tyrion had Stinking Drunk attached and therefore had -1 STR. Does he lose particaption in the defence as soon as he kneels ?

2) Again with Tyrion do the Clansman characters particapting have to have the corresponding MIL,INT or POW ?

1) Characters don't stop participating in challenges because their STR is 0 (they don't leave play either, unless a card effect says so). Only effects that specifically remove them from a challenge or from play can do that.

2) Icons only matter for declaring attackers or defenders (or card effects that look for them). So the Clansmen don't need the icons and will participate in any challenge.
