Quick guide to original paint schemes: Where veterans help newbies…

By LedZep, in Dust Tactics

Hello! First time posting here:

I would like to ask painting veterans from dust tactics/warfare to share what colors of Vallejo paints they use to emote the color scheme a squad or mech show on their cards. I found painting tutorials on the Axis medium walker and some allies. My intention is to recreate the original paintjob from The original core set on the figures. Problem is, I am new to painting (only panted 2 squads of space marines before I quit) and where I live people dont ussualy know about dust tactics or paint miniatures. There are no stores that I know that sell cool paint and the ones who do sell then a bit overpriced. Thus I am asking because I plan to buy a group of different colors to paint my army because they are cheaper online even with shipping.

You could post name of the unit, color of paint, and the part of the miniature to paint that color.

Any help will be appreciated. If you know videos post them.

Vallejo has a line of Model Color paints that they developed with Panzer Ace. These are sold as sets to match WWII color schemes. I have not used these myself, but i am considering them.

Beyond that look to WWII model sites for color lists. There are a lot of WWII model building resources to be had that are perfect for using with Dust.

Flames of War has great lists of paint schemes for their minis on their website. They use Vallejo paints and sell great kits for specific armies.
