Customizing to the Great Old One

I typically play AH with the full suite of monsters (exluding Mask and other specifically excluded monsters). After the last game I felt it would be much better if there was a specific subset of these monsters to change the theme of the monster cup for each GOO. For example, in this game, I really would have liked to experience a Chthonian or two grinding away at us in service of Shudde M'ell. (It was just strange that the game was, by chance, full of undead.)

Has anyone compiled, or started to compile, such a list? And while I'm thinking about it - what about gates? Do you tweak by removing one or both copies of some of the easier Other Worlds to increase the Doom?

You know, I was thinking this exact same thing last week. Now that I know I'm not the only one, I might actually go ahead and do it.

(I also thought of making a seperate monster pile for each gate, with a neutral pile, so that those make sense, but that may be a bit too fiddly. I just love getting Star Spawn from R'lyeh, Mi-Go from Yuggoth, etc...)
