List of Jericho Vigil Members?

By shawncarman, in Deathwatch Gamemasters

Has anyone compiled a list of all the known members of the Vigil in the Jericho Reach? There's a lot in the GM's Kit and in Jericho Reach, of course, but I'm sure there are others mentioned throughout the line. I thought about putting one together myself but I figured I'd check and see if anyone had one already.

I guess no one has made such a list! I've started work on it, and I'll share when it's done.

Just out of curiosity, I can't find any information on Battle-Brother Pellas, commander of the Thunder's Word. I vaguely remember reading some information about him, though. Am I misremembering?

There is a description of the commander of another Deathwatch ship commander in the adventure text of the GM kit. I don't recall much about Pellas.

Okay, first draft is finished. I started with the Watch Stations themselves.

Watch Stations of the Reach
• Watch Station Erioch – Incomprehensibly vast, Erioch is the lifeblood of the Deathwatch in the Jericho Reach. The Erioch system’s exactly location is a tightly guarded secret, known only to the Deathwatch and the Ordo, as well as perhaps a handful of closely trusted allies. Erioch is home to the Omega Vault and the Hunting Grounds.
• Watch Station Andronicus – Constructed near an Adeptus Mechanicus facility, this watch station makes use of an advanced observatory created by the Mechanicus called the Mirador. The station not only uses the observatory, but also serves as a potent arsenal for the Deathwatch.
• Watch Station Arkhas – Arkhas is a space station in an uninhabited system. It is small, with room for only a dozen Battle Brothers. It is maintained by a venerable astropath, Varrus.
• Watch Station Iobel – Located in a region of storm-blasted mountains, Iobel has often served as the launching point for operations in the area of the Hadex Anomaly. It takes the form of a fortress, and was originally constructed to stand guard against the planet’s deep ravines, where legends say strange creatures are known to periodically emerge.
• Watch Station Midael – Midael sits on a dead world, has been silent for three decades, and is presently defended by a lone Battle Brother who repulses the attackers who come to claim the thing contained in the center of the watch station.
• Watch Station Oertha – Located in the Canis Salient, Oertha is the bastion of defense on a world coveted by the Tau. The Deathwatch and the Crusade forces cooperate to defend the world from the vast fortress concealed in the ravines of the equatorial mountain ranges.
• Watch Station Phaedas – Unique in every regard, Phaedas is an archaeotech vessel capable of independent flight through the warp despite the Tyrannid presence. The craft is somehow linked to the Omega Vault and will move through the Reach in an independent manner in conjunction with openings in the Vault.
• Watch Station Tryphon – Tryphon is a small station inside the Orpheus Salient. Despite being within the warp shadow of the Hive, the station is periodically able to transmit messages to Erioch. No one is certain how this is possible.
Systems Identified with Watch Stations: Orpheus Salient (Castiel, Sedu), Acheros Salient (Cressid, Hestus, Kabiri, Klaha, Ormasim, Resgulus, Vormos), Canis Salient (Bellom, Cosel, Hestus, Skapula)

Edit: Man the quote function is borked.

Here's my work in progress. Quite ugly, given the parsing problems I'm having with the forum, but I can send a file if anyone desires it. Feel free to post corrections, updates, or additions!

Members of the Deathwatch
The following are confirmed members of the Long Watch in the Jericho Reach. Others have been mentioned but unless their Chapter can be confirmed, they have not been listed. Individuals marked with an asterisk are either MIA or KIA.

Command Level
• Watch Commander Mordigael – The Master of the Vigil in the Jericho Reach, Mordigael is a venerable veteran of the Blood Angels who has served three tours of duty within the Deathwatch. He is a perfectionist and a consummate warrior, and a personage of near legendary proportions among the Blood Angles and their successor Chapters.
• Watch Captain Andar Scarion – This perfectionist commander from the Astral Claws expects nothing less than flawless performance from all who serve him. He quietly pities non-Astartes as weaker, lesser entities.
• Watch Captain Brand Mac Lir – A devotee of the Codex, this Storm Warden favors a cautious and measured response to every situation, which makes him an effective leader.
• Watch Captain Julius Scipio – Notable for being a Librarian who holds the rank of Watch Captain, Scipio of the Dark Angels is well known for his accurate and exacting reports.
• Watch Captain Kail Vibius – A member of the Marines Errant, Vibius was captured by Dark Elder and held as a gladiator (maybe with Magno Stoan?), but escaped. He maintains close ties with the Rogue Trader House of Ecale.
• Watch Captain Marcus Avinicus – An embittered Ultramarine veteran of the Tyrannic Wars, Avinicus hunts the Tyrannids in the Jericho Reach tirelessly. He directs his teams from his mobile headquarters, the Nova-class frigate Hallowed Sword.
• Watch Captain Prascus* – A distinguished and well-regarded officer, Prascus served for many years before rejoining his Chapter and perishing in the Tyrannic Wars.
• Watch Captain Ramiel* – An exacting member of the Dark Angels, Ramiel departed Erioch three decades ago to investigate the silence of Watch Station Midael. He has not been heard from since that time.
• Watch Captain Servais – Cold and calculating, Servais adopts his Raven Guard training and favors infiltration and insurrection as tools for defeating an enemy.
• Watch Captain Tarran Cearr – A scion of the Storm Wardens, Tarran Cearr is well known for his mastery of dueling and the blade. He prefers direct assault as a means of resolving most issues and has a rivalry with fellow officer Servais.
• Watch Captain Veen Durg – This venerated officer of the Red Scorpions despises mutants above all else, and has personally led more than two hundred missions against the chaos worlds of the Archeros Salient.

Specialists
• Apothecary Jevael – This Sanguinary Priest of the Flesh Tearers has a reputation for tending to his fellow Battle-Brothers and their regimens. Some suspect he is seeking a cure for the Black Rage.
• Apothecary Kregor Thann – This Red Scorpion is a master of his craft, and presently working to find biological weapons to use against Hive Fleet Dagon.
• Apothecary Septimus – Trained as a Kill-marine, this Angel of Absolution is atypically charismatic and prone to humor.
• Chaplain Brother Vigilant – Arriving at Erioch aboard a starship in a stasis pod, the mysterious Vigilant met with the Chamber of Vigilance and took up the mantle of the Black Shield. He is well regarded for his wisdom and counsel.
• Chaplain Jorge Martinez – This Crimson Fist is a trusted confidant of the Watch Commander, and often instigates missions on Mordigael’s behalf.
• Chaplain Magno Stoan – This venerable Imperial Fist was captured by Dark Eldar forces, but managed to escape and capture one of his captors in return. He brought his captive to the Deathwatch, who learned much from it, and Stoan took the oath to join the Long Watch.
• Chaplain Titus Strome – A former Black Shield battle-brother, Strome took up the duty as a Chaplain after a miraculous survival defending his entire wounded team from xenos hereteks. His wounds nearly killed him, but instead gave him purpose.
• Librarian Aratron – This Lexicanium of the Marines Errant studies the phenomenon known as the Lamentation Wave, and claims to have detected a pattern. Many doubt his sanity.
• Librarian Axineton – Perhaps the senior Librarian at Erioch, Axineton of the White Consuls holds the rank of Epistolary and is a member of the Chamber of Vigilance. He is known as a fierce warrior, but also a blunt and unpleasant man.
• Librarian Miguel Gricalo* – This Howling Griffon Codicer departed Erioch years ago on a vision-led mission to check on Watch Stations within the Dark Pattern. This was more than fifty years ago, and he has not been seen since.
• Librarian Taelon – This White Scar holds the rank of Codicer, and is the Deathwatch’s foremost expert on the various xenos threats in the Jericho Reach. He is also extremely knowledgeable about the Chaos threats as well.
• Librarian Zadkiel – Zadkiel is of the Dark Angels and holds the rank of Epistolary. He has ruthlessly persecuted the forces of Chaos in the Acheros Salient on many occasions, although some suspect he hunts the Unforgiven.
• Librarian Zoshan Firehand – An Epistolary of the White Scars, Firehand has seen firsthand the distant world Ynnen in the Canis Salient and believes the dead xenos culture there cannot be allowed to rise again.
• Techmarine Mac Zi Ven – This Storm Warden secretly believes that xenos tech should be employed by the Deathwatch, and his devotion to the Cult Mechanicus is well known. He strongly dislikes Greyweaver.
• Techmarine Harl Greyweaver – This aged Space Wolf holds the rank of Forge Master at Watch Station Erioch. He is notoriously intolerant of other Chapter rituals and of xenos technology, but is a master at maintaining and upgrading Erioch’s armory.
• Techmarine Orwell Domens – This Marine Errant is well regarded by the Deathwatch for his repair and restoration of many systems at Erioch.

Veterans
• Brother-Sergeant Caleb Solm – A Red Scorpion, Solm is on a mission to retrieve the archives of the Reach’s many Watch Stations. One he found in disrepair and defended it from demons for five years before resuming his duty.
• Deathwatch Champion Attalus Fellhand – This Space Wolf has a reputation for being brash and unpleasant, and has been seconded to the Deathwatch to learn about proper methods for melee combat with Tyrannids. He is secretly insecure about his abilities as a student and a teacher.
• Dreadnaught: Goremann the Elder – A valiant Crimson Fist, Goremann is a devastating force of war who is currently relegated largely to tactical assessment, much to his regret.
• Dreadnaught: Horest Cain – This enigmatic figure is a loyal member of the Deathwatch, but the Novamarines have no record of having ever seconded a Battle-Brother of that name to the Deathwatch in the first place.
• Veteran-Brother Donal Hageth – This Marine Errant is an overseer of the Hunting Ground, and often consults with Kill-teams to bring in new specimens. He is something of an expert on xenos anatomy.

Rank & File Battle-Brothers
• Alexi Carmon – This Crimson Fist is alleged to closely resemble his Primarch and is blessed with both extraordinary luck as well as a talent for explosives.
• Arius Hyzeron – This charismatic Ultramarine has served as a sentry at Erioch for centuries, and is a repository of lore concerning the Omega Vault.

• Xantis – A Battle-Brother of the Ultramarines.
