So in our campaign we had a psyker turn into an unbound daemonhost. We're pretty much all going to die, but I'm jut wondering, if weaken veil has been cast and normally psychic phenomenon happen on an 8,9 or 10, when a daemonhost rolls a 9 does it now take a wound on an 8,9 or 10 due to the weaken veil or is it still just on 9s?

Taking the rules literally, the Daemonhost would suffer wounds only on 9s, and have to take Psychic Phenomenon rolls on 8s and 10s. Taken with just the slightest minutia of sense, a Daemonhost would simply suffer a wound on any 8, 9, or 10.
