The basic strategy is to drop my threat really low and pick of enemies with Dunhere. I know some of the card counts aren't optimal, but that's due to my card pool being somewhat inadequate to accommodate so many decks!

Why only 1 song of kings? Feeling that lucky?

I think this deck is on the right track. Here are some suggestions/questions:

1. Only one song of kings? I know you have the Rivendell's Minstrel, but that is a 3 cost Lore card, which would take 3 turns to get out. I would put in at least one more.

2. Not sure what your card pool is, but I would replace Daughter of the Nimrodel with Warden of Healing. It is a cheaper card and is a bit more flexible in healing.

3. If you are able, put in a couple of Dwarven Tombs to recycle those Elrond's Counsels to keep your threat low and execute your main strategy.

4. Since you are running Lore, I would add at least 2 Daeron's Runes cards. At zero cost, it allows you to cycle through your deck and get rid of any dead cards in your hand. It is one of my favorites out of the last adventure pack.

Happy gaming man. Let us know how the deck goes.

Thanks for the pointers, guys. I haven't been able to actually find Foundations of Stone in my city yet, so I wanted to see if it was even worth investing in based on any feedback on the deck. Does it seem playable in a game with more than one player? It seems like the strategy may be a little too solo oriented given how it has to manage threat. I suppose I could lower other players' too, but that's a lot of threat to manage.

This deck would probably pair well with a combat oriented deck. You have a lot of questing power and location management with Glorfindel, West Road Traveller, Northern Tracker, and Asfaloth. If you keep your threat low, your partner would probably engage most of the enemies. I would run a Rohan deck with Eowyn, Dunhere, and Theodred, while my brother would run an Eagle deck. One deck quests, the other deck kills.

Here is roughly what I would do: (assuming solo play)

1. Cut Aragorn for Bifur. In my opinion Aragorns (allow your threat to rise and come back with a bang) playstyle runs opposite to Dunhere's (keep your threat low all the time). Bifur also gives you lower starting threat and more resource stability.

cards to add:

+1 Steward of Gondor

+1 Henameth Riversong (assuming you have a 2nd core set)

+2 Warden of Healing

+1 Erebor Hammersmith

+1 A Test of Will

+1 Greetings of the Galadrhim

+3 Fresh Tracks (synergize well with Dunhere, either extra dmg or he can attack an enemy that would engage you this turn)

cards to cut:

-3 Northern Tracker

-1 Arwen Undomiel

-2 Daughter of the Nimrodel

-2 Unexpected Courage

-1 Celebrians Stone

-1 Faramir

thats just a rough overview, other cards to look into would be: Strider's Path, Snowbourn Scout, more Westroad Travller. And Daeron's Runes!
