If a Character has the Genie & the Genie casts a Spell at another Character & that Character casts Counterspell does the Counterspell effect the Character with the Genie or not?

Maybe the question was about Reflection Spell. Since you must treat Genie's Spell as though you had cast them, Reflection does affect the Character whose Genie had cast the Reflected Spell.
