FF, please make a Xenos-centric game. Obviously, Eldar is iconic. Tao would be cool to.

Sorry, but No thanks. The Warhammer universe has always been human-centric and thus it should stay.
Aliens should be nigh incomprehensible and not just humans with pointy ears or blue skin. And that's what they would become once they're playable.
I can't in all sincerity show support in the way you mean, as I wouldn't be interested in that sort of thing personally. But I do hope you get what you want.
You do realize that there are already two playable xeno races and a third one underway?

I'm sure he does. He said he wanted a Xeno-centric game , not Xenos characters for the existing game: A whole game based around the Tau or Eldar or whatever.
I'd much rather a Tau or Eldar game than Dark Heresy or Only War.
The other games are fine and diverse/multiracial as is.
Also, I hate the Imperium of Man, so yeah, I guess I'm biased.
To those who claim you can't RP Eldar properly, how do you figure you RP a Space Marine, or a genetic mutant cultist or psyker in a loony culture like the Imperium? Seems just as sketchy to me.
I for one would love an alien-centric game, playing Eldar, as first preference. I don't see it as problematic if in some gaming groups, Eldar end up being played as humans with pointy ears and less clunky guns - if you enjoy it, you enjoy it. I see the 'problem' of roleplaying an Eldar (or a Tau, Kroot, or whatnot) as no more problematical than playing a vampire in the White Wolf games, or, even, elves, dwarves, orks etc in any other RPG. In most games I played, many dwarves basically ended up being a caricature of Northern English miners - I don't see that as a problem, even though dwarves in Warhammer Fantasy are more complex than that.
Ultimately, I see it in terms of more choice is nearly always better. I have no interest in playing a space marine, but I know a lot of people want to - so good luck to them, and as the games cross over reasonably well, I, in RT, can use some of the stuff from DW easily enough (I am using DH's Creatures Anathama for RT, and it is fine). Someone else wanting to play a space marine (or an Ork, or a Dark Eldar) doesn't do me any harm at all, even though I don't want to play them, and I don't think my group are all that interested by them.
In the first instance, I think it would be a great if there was a RT supplement all about (not Dark) Eldar, say about 140 pages long. In that, there could be Eldar player characters (along pages on Eldar ship creation, more ship options, wargear, Eldar psycic powers, lots of fluff, etc). I think a good model would be the Chaos, Skaven and Vampire books from 2nd edition Warhammer Fantasy Roleplay which had loads of material for using these as enemies in regular RPGs, but provided little sections for having Chaos cultist, Chaos Dwarf, Skaven and Vampire player characters (despite, I recall, the section on Vampire PCs being prefixed with a warning that vampire PCs can be difficult to pull off). Of the 140 ish pages, about 120-130 would be directly useful for using Eldar in normal RT games (either as one-off PCs or NPCs), and then 10-20 pages used to talk about playing as Eldar only groups (or Orks, or whatever).
I thought that worked really well in WFRP - only a small amount of space was taken over from fluff and rules useful for 'normal' players, but those who fancied a change had an easy way to do so. I do think that this would be a good first step towards this for RT to take (and then if playing as Eldar, or whatever, was wildly popular, they could have their own game at a later date, but I think the RT rules work well enough for them).
Anyway, I think that would be great.
All best,
David.
I second the above statement. (hits the +1 button)
I'm not a fan of playing humans. I have played a lot of RPGs over the years, and I pretty much will always choose an alien/mutant animal/dwarf/shapeshifter/whatever over a human character. I play games to escape reality, and for me that includes taking the role of something "else". I find the idea of a xenos game quite appealing. I would suggest the Tau Empire, as I think it would be the best choice for a quality game. Their motivations are clear enough that players will "get" them, and there are a great many character options. You could play any of the castes of the Tau, or an alien inductee to the Greater Good. Human caharacters are even an option for those players who do not like playing "other" things. Even though I shudder to say "crossover" due to the inconsistencies between the main titles, there could even be the potential to bring a human character from another game into a Tau Empire game. How about a non-Chaos Heretek who embraces science & technology unfettered by Mechanicus dogma? Any Dark Heesy character type would have potential, really. Especially if the GM wants to complicate things with deep-cover infiltrators.
In any case, I would definately go for a game like this.
The problem with a Tau centered game is there Caste system, which rules out any promotion. A player who would start as a fire Caste grunt would always stay a grunt

Not really- the caste system just means that someone who started as a fighting-type person will always remain a fighting-type person. Promotions within a caste are always possible, provided they can pass a Trial By Fire (in the case of the Fire Caste). Admittedly, that might get them from shas'la up to shas'ui, maybe shas'vre, at which point it's time to find a shas'o patron.
