…what type would you be?
1. What background as service as an Acolyte and Throne Agent would you have behind you?
2. What Ordos would you belong to?
3. What faction would you be drawn into or towards?
4. What would be your style when operating?
I'll start 
1. I'd think that I'd be recruited for being loyal muscle and then shine a little by not being a lackwit and having some scholarly skills. But primarily I'd imagine that I'd be used as muscles and fighting so that's probably how I would come down and be used before becoming an Inquisitor myself.
2. I would probably chose the Ordo Xenos because I don't think that I have the mental fortitude of being a Daemon Hunter or the social skills for being a successful Witch Hunter, but I do think that I could manage pretty well against he Xenos - at least the more militant of them.
3. While some may think that I am a Monodominance-minded I am in fact drawn more towards the Amalathianism creed.
4. Due to not having superb social skills and prefering honestly and brute force to be honest I think that I would work close with the military and church in order to solve more direct problem foremost. I'd gather as much information as I can about the aliens and then spread this information on a need-to-know basis to selected parts of the Imperium. Most likely I would have a small and trusted retinue that follows me around and aid me in finding more information about the Xenos and destroying them in glorious battle in the name of the Emperor.
I'd recon you would be more likely to find me taking part in the war for the Jericho Reach than working against the machinations of the aliens and xenophiles in the Calixis Sector.
