How do you even build decks?

I usually get a contractor to do it. Other than that, lumber, nails, probably something to cut a way from your door to it…

Seriously though- what do you mean? You choose a goal, you throw some cards into a pile, shuffle them, and play. Then after a game, you look at the deck, fix a few parts that weren't helpful, and play again. Repeat until you have something good.

First there is an idea. Then I browse to cardgamedb.com. After selecting about 40 to 50 cards I decide the idea was crap. I repeat this for about 50 to 80 times. And then I usally think "ok, it's still bad, but I need a deck to play, so I've to give it a try!".

I mean how many cards can it consist of and what are the limitations, like can I put Eddard Stark in a Lannister deck? Or is there a limit to the amount of territories I can have, and events and so on…

You'll want to read the core set rules located here.

I have a question regarding this not related to actually NOT reading the book :)

In the book it says MINIMUM 60 cards

Does that INCLUDE plot cards or are those seven always considered seperate

You actually have two separate decks. A draw deck and a plot deck. So the minimum of 60 is for your Draw deck and therefore does not include the plot cards.

Thank you

Wasnt sure about that plot deck thing. I assume the house card is just a place to put tokens and also does not count in the total for the deck?

Correct.

What you have is:

- Exactly one house card

- Possibly an Agenda

- A plot deck of exactly 7 cards

- A draw deck of at least 60 cards
