on side B, it sayst that if I quest successfully I get to look at the top three of the encounter deck and choose one to put in the staging area and discard the other two. If I don't quest successfully, do I just draw the top encounter card, or does this "forced" action only come into play if I quest successfully?
The Hunt Begins
If you quest unsuccesfully you do nothing. Lucky you!
Generally you ignore any card effects when you do not fulfill the prerequisites.
Too good but true!
Thanks! That is how I interpreted it and have been playing it, but wanted to make sure.
In the same scenario, I have a few other questions to make sure I am playing it correclty:
1. On the second stage, "at the beginning of the quest phase draw two encounter cards and select one to put in the staging area etc." does this mean that this is the first thing I do during the quest phase prior to committing characters to questing? This is the way I have played it but I want to be sure.
2. Stage 3, does the questing phase happen normally…only draw one encounter etc., provided I have a signs of Gollum?
Thanks.
