Apologies if this had been covered before but I didn't find it with my search.
I would like to know if suppressive fire last a full round, e.g. from the initiative count of the firer until the same firer is again in the next round.
For example, a member of Team A armed with a heavy stubber places suppressive fire on an area at initiative count 12. All members of Team B in that area must perform a pinning roll and risk the chance of being shot if Team A's stubber shooter's ballistic skill roll is good enough.
But what if another member of Team B enters the same area on his own subsequent initiative count of 7, e.g. at a later moment but still during the same combat round?
Must that character also perform a pinning roll and risk the chance of being shot?
Or can he just walz up to the heavy stubber guy and try to behead him because the earlier supprisive fire didn't apply to him?
