I'm running OCTGN on Windows 7 and it seems to operate fine however the GUI seems to be glitchy. I tried running it in a windows xp virutal machine and that worked fine but I'd like to get it running on my normal machine.

Hm. I have the same setup but have no troubles. The simplest bet might be to update your graphics card drivers. That may not fix it, though. You could also turn off Aero just to see if that helps. I'm not sure it would. That's definitely kinda strange.

I tried both of those with no results

right click on your desktop and choose screen resolution option. make sure that the option selected is the one with "(recommended)" next to it. if it isn't, change it to the recommended resolution.

I figured it out. I have two graphics cards installed and if I force OCTGN to use the low performance integrated intel one it seems to work fine.
