The End Comes

Can someone please tell what possible tactical use can it have?

I can see how shadow of the past can bring back a 100% "safe" encounter you'd rather have instead of some random you can't predict, but this?

Just to remind, the card text:

Response: After Dward character leaves play, shuffle the encounter discard pile back into the encounter deck.

Gollum in the Dead Marshes, Objectives in EfDG, Ranger of Ithilien when discarded with Burning Brand, Athelas, Grimbeorn or locations with good travel effects……..just to name a few.

Avoiding 10+ Orcs coming at you from the discard pile when Orc Ambush hits.

Seventeen Orcs if you watch the newest cardboard video…….Epic

Sometimes its not even about the discard pile, but just shuffling the encounter deck. Say Henamarth peeks at a really nasty card you don't wanna see and you can get the trigger off, voila you now get something different.

Has anyone actually used that card? I know what its theoretical use shall be but never used it so far.

I think I have one copy in my Dwarf deck, just in case. Do recall using it in RtR.
