Fault of Form (Gold order): Someone explain the rules of this one to me. What is the "brittle" condition..etc.

Brittle is not a condition in the same way that Exposed is a condition, Brittle is just a description. The affect is that of the 2 bonus fortune dice listed on the card if someone tries to break the effected item.

If casting from the conservative side and you roll 2 or more successes then you get the bonus of making the item of poor quality, this is described on page 96 of the Player's Guide, it generally adds 1 misfortune die to any attempts to use it.
