Thought it might be interesting to see a list of who is going to be in the tournament from the forums…

Though I've never actually played Netrunner before. Only read great things about the former game and very interested in trying it.
bought myself a ticket even though i double booked events, if i can't make it one of the club will.
i used to play at my cousins house when i was in grammar school, was a fun game from what i remember.

I'm also playing in the Cthulhu tournament that day. Gonna be a long one but worth it!
I'll be there.

I will also be playing in the Cthulhu tournament that day.
I'm in. Only 32 slots available? I'm guessing tournaments can't get much bigger without requiring multiple days. This is essentially going to be the cap of the weekend.

Yeah, I'll bet they could have sold a lot more than 32 tickets, but there's only so much time. If it ever gets REALLY big, they can do what some other companies have done and hold several prelim tournaments on the earlier days and the top X from each prelim get into the final tournament. Often, Regionals or other major tournament winners will get a free pass into the finals, as well.
I would imagine multiple events/tournaments would of sold quite quickly, seeing as how late it was added to the gen con schedule and it sold out in a day or so?
I agree. If it had been on the schedule from the beginning of event registration I'm sure they could have easily sold a lot more tickets. Especially if they had events on different days so more people could get around their conflicts with other events. Maybe next year they will do this.
I think also they need to work on having their LCG events not conflict with each other as much. For instance, the Game of Thrones tournament and Call of Cthulhu tournament run at the same time. They can run two tournaments per day (early and late) so there's no reason to have this sort of problem.
I want in. I think there should be at least 2 more tournaments for Netrunner ( Thurs & fri ). I guess I can just show up and hope someone else can't play, and take their spot.
Powers209 - If you want to do that, get to the tournament early. Names get put on the waiting list in the order they show up to ask. Also, you'll need two generic tickets.
Better get a ticket quick they now made the tournament limit 64 players!
One more that's signed up. (Got in via the original batch.)
Where are guys getting tickets for the tourney? This will be my first year at GenCon and this tourney is what I'm most looking forward to.

Through the GenCon registration page. If you've got a badge already:
Great news on the tournament expansion. Now let's see if we can sell out 64 slots!
I'm in. Only 20 tickets left when I went to buy a short while ago.
If I'm still playing AGoT, though, someone with generic tickets will be happy.
I'm in (assuming travel plans work out)
down to 13 tickets as of 7pm, i am still quite amazed for adding an event the last week of registration how many people signed up for this!
And now only 6 left. Seems FFG made a very good choice picking up this property.
Not sure if it has been discussed but wouldn't adding more players mean adding more time/rounds to the tournament?
Heh, which is why I'v written off the remainder of Saturday (and possibly Sunday) in the event it takes that long.
I signed Up. Didn't know it was going to be Bring Your Own.
My LGS thought it was going to be a box game like Ascension.
Now, I need to know how much it will cost at the con.
AND, I need a copy of the new rules.
Well, the FFG catalog lists it as $39.99 for the base set so I'd assume it'll be that price at the con. Regardless of the card distribution you'll be able to put together the 2 decks needed from one box set, though you may get more choice if you buy more than one (we don't know yet).
We all need a copy of the rules. FFG say they'll be out in time for the con, but they're not here yet.
