I was just wondering what kinds of gear people had and at what ranks they got said gear.
Also how much gold people had at what ranks.

Money has pretty low value in this game (roleplaying-wise), but it does have significance.
Since there was no standard put forth in the core rules, I defined that 50s per "scenario" would be adequate. I based my house rule directly the amounts that a mercenary would typically make (see hirelings).
I've used that as my standard ever since and then players kind of know whether the deal seems high/low/too-good-to-be-true.
That said, my player characters are typically broke. They will have spent every last dime on replacing damaged equipment, healing draughts, and asylums. (see my house rulebook for a full list of stuff you can buy based directly on the core rules..in my sig).
By rank, it's kind of a craps shoot. Characters don't necessarily make more just because they're rank 2, but it is kind of implied. At some point, it would be nice if a character could afford a horse or superior weapon or something. To do this, the GM has to be generous enough to get it done.

As I explained in other post :
1. I created a "Wealth" stat, from 1(poor) to 5(wealthy) (2 being the average).
2. I gave all equipment a price stat,
3. a PC with a Wealth=3 stat, can then have all stuff price3 or less, being limited by encumbrance.
Some PC have one-shot stuff (like potions or scrolls..) and he can generally replenish it at the end of the day/act/game session.
I don't track ammo, or stuff. Pretty simple system but I don't want to get bothered by logistics.
Well we rarely actually buy gear, most of our characters come pre-equipped when purchasing from character creation with most of what they are adventuring with for the future. We normally get to buy a horse before our players are killed at the beginning of rank 2
