Chaos deck, need help.

By Navitude, in UFS Deck Building

Well below is a chaos deck that I am building. Just wondering what I can run besides defender and checkmate loops? Also help develop it to play well against heavy control decks/meta. Also need help deciding on a character...

Edit:

.:Nightmare Geese:. or .Ralf.

Actions:
3x Preventing the Curse

Assets:
4x Lynnette's Shop
4x Seal of Cessation

Attacks:
3x Fire Kick
3x Galactica Phantom

Foundations:
3x Clean Freak
4x Destiny
4x The Red Lotus of the Sun
4x King of Fighter's 2006
4x N-type Human
4x Anti-K
3x Oral Dead
4x Billiard Player
3x Ikari Warrior
3x Dancing Battle Kabuki
3x Lillien Knights
3x Mentally Unstable
3x Military Combat Arts

In/Out:

-3 Will of Irons

-1 Military Combat Art

+4 KOF's 2006

do you have access to King of Fighters 2006 its a great card to get momentum and get rid of your opponents hand

Chaos lacks solid card draw. How about Kabuki Artist for recursion? Also, didn't see it, but how about Mentally Unstable for some loops.

Lesser of Many Evils

N Type Human

KoF 2006 (I got four you can borrow)

All these cards are DESPERATLY needed in order to pull off Galatica Phantom... Otherwise 2 speed mid aint doing jack.

Don't forget the Olcadan's!

From the foundation lineup, Geese is going to be one of the more solid options for this deck. In his case, Clean Freak serves double duty, loading the opponent's momentum with "low" checks while getting rid of foundations that could be used to pass those checks.

Recommendations would include King of Fighters 2006, for sure, and also Return to Southtown and Forethought.

You can also cut back on Billiard Player, Anti-K', Dancing Battle Kabuki, and Destiny (one each), as they're not so hot beyond three cards, *most especially* Battle Kabuki, which is a dead card in the staging area beyond a single copy, and just SCREAMS for Olcadan's attention.

how can you say that about biliard player? also unlese you are running ralf, i would cut galactica phantom, ad another copy of fire kick, and maybe flying edge.

What, cutting one copy each of the foundations I mentioned? Pretty simple, really - they take up space that's needed for other stuff. Nobody needs to play 4 copies of Billiard Player =/

in a game 2 days ago i won only becuase i had 5 copies of biliard player (3 biliard player, 2 lynete's). i think biliard player is one of the best tools chaos has as far as recursion.

well it doesnt really help in high numbers unless your staging area is getting rocked by destruction like olcadans and clean freak it does help but if you have more then say 2 in play how many foundations could you possibly need that you dont already have

a whole lot. when your oponent keeps olcadoning away your destinies, it is impearitive to get them back as quick as posible.

In that case i think you should find an answer to olcadans instead of relying on Billards player

RED LOTUS KTHX.

billiard player is just too good to take out, not only is it anti olcadan's, but it also lets you fish fro foundations that you really need, like tho checked forethoughts that are just waiting to be pulled back into play. also the good thing about billiard player is that you need 0 momentum to make it work, in that case it just gets so much better, u can literally keep recurring those clean freaks and other ubergood foundations. for characters have you considered ::setsuka::, fio and i will go there, ibuki, she has chaos and a really decent ability that lets u pass checks, overall its a good start nav

Well theres a one up on the chracter to be choosen. I have narrowed it down to two characters being A) Geese and B) Ralf, which decidedly will slide into Kyoshiro. As for cards, I am dumping the Will of Iron because it's probably the most un-used card I ever put into a deck list. I will reduce Military Combat Arts by one to add King of Fighter's 2006, thanks B-Rad.

So two questions;

1) Does form N-type, play attack, enhance Military Combat Arts, enhance Clean Freak, enhance Lillien Knights, enhance attack, and respond to block with Nightmare Geese's responce good enough for the deck? Or does adding the attack back to my hand with Ralf better?

2) Can I dump Military Combat Arts and Lillien Knights for something better?
