Vegas Regional would be amazing. Seriously, what do we need to do to make it a reality. And really, if we can get some kind of deal to have it at a Hotel on the Strip. Mindboggling.

Apparently they were turned down this year for a regional (Yet somehow portland got one for 4 people?) I am not sure who handles the declinations, but they need to reconsider vegas next year.

~Are you sure people in Vegas play card games? I've never seen it on an episode of CSI…

Kubla pulled rings from out of state, and kingdom-con pulled a few players from UT and NV. ~Other than that, it's clear the rest of you guys hate us
EVERYONE in SoCal wants to see a regional in Las Vegas next year. A lot of us would have made the trek, and we may have pulled some players from AZ.
~Now, now, John… had you paid my appearance fee and airfare like I asked, I'd totally have been to the Cons.
If we break the Country up into vertical swaths by time zone, that gives the West Coast ~63 (55 + 3 in Portland + 5? at Kingdom-Con).
Does anybody know about Colorado?
Central Time works out to ~84 + Chicago, by my calculations.
I suppose you could arbitrarily divide the East into Interior: (Ottawa, Rochester, Cincinnati & TN in Eastern) @ 10, 18, 24 & ? and Coastal (NYC, NJ & DC) @ 22, 13 & 27 (62 not counting overlap).
It is interesting to note that Cincinnati is almost exactly equidistant from Chicago & Tennessee*. I wonder who might travel where. And I'm hoping that we see the Detroit crew (Casey, Mallesh & Luigi) in Chicago.
*And since I'm having way to much fun with Google Maps, It's roughly the same distance Iowa City to Minneapolis. And the Iowa City/Springfield is similar to TN/DC and Kubla/Pasadena.
