I missed that it was an ancient world of empires with no modern technology. My character didn't use modern technology, but lived in a world where it would have had to exist.

wait another 5 days, as they're likely to have pushed back the date but forgot to tell us. Still, they've got until the end of the day. Although my guess is that they're already in talks with the winner and will announce it when those are done.
Well, the 19 has come and went with no announcement. Either they DID pick a winner and just didnt make it a PUBLIC announcement, or they did put it off another week and forgot to announce that. Hope they clarify that.
Keep in mind that Steve's been out of the office all week due to surgery and they're working really hard to get set 12 out as well as managing all the tournaments starting up around now. I think we can cut them a little leeway in terms of waiting for a winner. I'm perfectly content to wait an extra few days.
I have no problems with waiting. I really dont. I know things dont always go as planned.
But it's polite to say that things have been delayed and by how long (If they know).

Sorry about the delay. I'm back at the office now but with the extension we gave for entries and me taking longer to recover we will need until early next week to announce a winner. I'm happy to say that we ended up with a lot of entries and we are having a lot of fun reading them.

I think a Spartan would have a very high probability of falling under the category of "a character they already have planned out but just haven't revealed yet." Hopefully nobody forgot about that issue and submitted one anyway, I'd feel kinda bad for them if they did -.-'

I'll throw in my .02 that I would prefer a written announcement on the site as opposed to it being announced in the podcast.
Seconded. Even if it is in the podcast as well, I much prefer a typed SotG on the site to the podcast. Even if they are released concurrently. I'd still listen to the podcast, but it makes things much easier to refrence.

Not to worry, I always make sure everything you need to know is in the written STOG but you should also listen to the podcast as the is always something worth hearing and most times some kind of spoiler.
