Only two entries each? Shame. Now I'll have to spend about an hour picking my best two to develop for this.

Rhode Island and Quebec aren't, unless otherwise specified, barred from entering. Ergo, from what I gather, I can participate. Hurrah!

woot. I only have two entries and it so happens that I was worried I would have to choose between them.

*edit* what are the views on art. I have a friend whose willing to draw up for one of my characters but I just want to know if it's alright to send a picture with my entry that also falls underneath the legal clause you put down for us.

Those two particular provinces/states have certain laws when it comes to winning prizes, and generally, in order to not deal with those, most contests simply exclude those. I know there's a few others like that, but those two specifically.

Anyway, seeing as there's no actual monetary prize, I doubt that clause would be in there, but I still rejoyce whenever I don't see it.

Well, it does say that drawings are neither needed nor desired. So, they probably wanna keep control over that aspect, seeing as how the characters appear is a pretty major part of both the card aesthetic and the worldbuilding. I also have a strong mental image of what my character looks like but I know the guys at FFG would do a far better job of integrating him into the product than I would. Still, it's not like they're going to completely ignore your ideas on his/her appearance.

I was amazed that I'm able to participate too, being on the other side of the pond. after all. Maybe I'm just used to WotC promotions, they have everything regionalized. Stupid Jace.

Even non-monetary prizes are US-onlz for WotC. I'm still bitter about not being able to claim mz Birthdaz Pikachu a few zears back.

Buuuuuumping this all the way from Page 6, because I guess people still need to be aware of this NOISE.

I just submitted my character, the extra few days afforded to me allowed me to polish a bit. (MARCH TENTH PEOPLE GET ON IT!!)

The deadline was extended? Crap! I had to rush it to get it submitted by Wednesday evening. I could really have used the extra time to polish it a bit.

So Tuesday's the new deadline? Half-tempted to submit a second entry but I put all my thought into the first guy, so I'd probably not have time to draw somebody new up. Everybody else: get on it!

I'm only submitting one, but it will be amazing, once i put my ideas to...type.

Arch, you're going down. In flames.

Psh, I'm still just the same as ever - waiting until the absolute last minute to do ANYTHING.

In other words, all I've figured out is my character's motivation, and a wee, tiny bit of backstory. I'll clearly make it all up tomorrow, just like always *sigh*

I wish it was more than 1,500 words.

I spent so much time on the Origin and Personality that I feel I left the fighting style kinda bare bones.

Managed to get two in. One I put a LOT of work into and submitted. And then they announced the time extension, so I decided to type up another one in the time remaining. Not quite as good as I'd like, not helped by the fact I completely rewrote his origins at least twice before finding something that I was happy with.

I've got a decent one I put in. I was going to put a second one in, but everything I come up with sounds just like the first one. And I don't want to jinx myself, but I think my characte is DA BOMB. lol. But no, it's pretty good, I think so at least.

I'm trying to finish mine but well, i think my writtings sucks.

Two hours to the deadline and I still haven't started yet.
