I know a lot of people bring up differences fluff and Rules. But i was wondering if anyone else though that Grenade or burst needs to be added to Granatwerfer, since its called and i quote ("grenade thrower") page 111 from the rule book

We were talking about this in another thread concerning indirect fire and LOS, there I think Shadow4ace pointed to the errata of the Nebelwerfer which seems to indicate that in the development of the game, spray weapons were able to ignore cover, just as burst weapons do. However, it seems that in one point of the development they changed their mind and decided to make spray and burst the way they are now, two different but potentially complementary weapon abilities, so that some weapons can be only burst, other can be only spray and if you need a weapon with both thing, just put the two special abilities to it.

It seems clear form the description of the weapon (the fluff part) that the Granatwerfer should ignore cover, which with the special abilities as today should be spray and burst or spray and grenade weapons (probably this last option is the intended one), however the RAW as today contravene the fluff and the name of the weapon (Granatwerfer, German for grenade launcher) as you have a grenade launcher huge size which does not fire grenades (!?)

You can house rule it until a new errata (maybe) changes it. The consensus in the other thread was more or less in that direction if I remember correctly.

Ariano answered this perfectly. I agree, and as a predominately Axis player, I so want to house-rule this one. I'm equally sure my opponents wouldn't mind if we did. Unfortunately, I don't want to get used to a powerful ability which I can't use in tournaments, therefore I'll play it RaW as now, and hope and pray for an Erratta. Craig, or anyone who has contact info for Mack, you'd be my Hero if you bring this up to him and convince him to errata it.

It'd be cool if folks going to the big Cons put a bug in their ear as well.
