Since the manual states, in page 59, that the only restricctions when matching heroes and units are that they share the same movement and armor class, I think its posible to match a Command Section (The Boss, as an example) with a hero of the same armor class and movement (maybe Rosie). Is that so? Sorry if Im a little confused, it´s that having played Dust Tactics for so long, some rules become confusing for me in warfare.
Some doubts concerning Heroes and Command Sections
As long as they are the same armor class, ie Armor 3 or armor 2, and the same movement speed, ie 6" or 12", then you can make any matching you want in the game. Except Chef he specifically says he cant be paired with anyone.
I mean the rules are pretty clear IMO you just need to read the book and you got it.
Yeah, youre right, but this arises a second question then.
Suppose I select Bazooka Joe as mi Command Section… its not a lone hero, its a Command Section. Can I attach then a hero to that Command Section? I mean, can then go Rosie as hero and Bazooka Joe as unit of Command Section? Or is it forbidden?
you can have 2 heroes but you cannot attach them to the same unit.

It is forbidden. Page 59. "Only one Hero may join any single unit, but any number of Heroes are free to join different units."
Since Bazooka Joe is a hero, he counts as the only hero in your Bazooka Joe Command section.
OK so in that case Bazooka Joe is a Comand Section AND a Hero at the same time, right? It makes sense, since it explains that it counts as a Hero for Hero Limits count purpose. Thanks a lot!
Can a hero in one platoon join a squad from another?
For instance, say I have Bazooka Joe as the Command Section in Platoon A.
In Platoon B, I have an observer squad.
Can Bazooka Joe join the observer squad?
I can't find anything in the rules to say I can't, but was wondering if someone else knew of a reason why this should not be allowed.

I would say no in your specific example because of the rules I'll quote below:
Page 59…
"If the Hero was chosen as a Command Section (see page 31) the unit is now treated as a Command Section."
I don't think an observer squad from platoon B can legally be the Command Section of Platoon A.
Otherwise, you can, which is made clear in the Platoon building rules below:
Page 82 and 109, bottom right corner Allies/Axis Hero rules…
"An army may contain one Hero per 150 AP, or fraction thereof, of the force. Heroes often operate outside the platoon structure and are not considered to be a Section of the platoon unless they are acting as a Command Section through the Leader special ability. Heroes who are not part of a platoon do not count as a Section for any platoon, even if the owning player plans to join the Hero to a unit.
When taken as a Command Section, a Hero is treated exactly as if he were a part of the platoon, counting as a Command Section. He may still join a unit as a Hero, but this unit must be from the same platoon as the Hero. A unit joined by a Hero in this way becomes the platoon's Command Section for the purposes of giving Orders."
Ah thanks, that last paragraph especially clears it up.
