Alternatively, FFG have poor communication with their suppliers. Personally I like their assault-cannon approach to new books, regardless of the occasional jam.

I'm not convinced: it is wholly impractical for me to have to lug around so many books. It's just not possible. doesn't matter their quality.

They certainly have poor communication with their fans - the people who want to give them money!

I've never seen such poor business sense in my life . If you are producing products people both like and want and are keen to buy them off you and your instinct is to refuse all communication then quite honestly get out of the business world. Seriously. This isn't a joke. How much effort can it be to actually talk to the people that pay your wages and show them a little more respect than FFG ever give us.

Yeah I have, Wizard of the Coast pumping out tons of system then scraping them over and over…

GamesWorkshop shafting you in the wallet with new minis and out of use older ones…. Sorry we decided chaos can't use that anymore but look woo new uber mini at 40$ a piece !!! Grab 20 for a uber 1 cookie army!

Business is business, they ain't doing life critical items, they can take their time, If you use your emogination you can create tons of monster…

LOL there are tons of sample creatures only already!!!

There is a random creature creator in the DM guide…

You haven't played many RPG before if you don't know how to improvise a creature on the spot… Try Eclipse phase!!! You are going to go bat crazy.

I thought I'd share the response I got from FFG: Some copies were released in Australia early. It'll be released world wide in early July.

Thanks for this.

You really are missing the point.

Or have I pointed at another flaw in your logic and you can;t really coutner mine?

It will be released eventually, most probably early jully as said so just hang in there a bit or improvise if you really can't wait.

There really isn't any denying that FFG has certainly dropped off on making timely announcements and updates regarding the WH40K RPG lines. If it's a matter of the guy that was doing it moving on and not yet being replaced, then I hope it's resolved soon. If it's a sign of the future handling of announcements and updates then I would agree that I as a customer don't favor it at all.

You're welcome. :)

If you can't lug around so many books, why are you so upset about one more taking a while to come out?

Alternatively: buy the PDFs and load them up on a laptop. OR…make up your own stuff? I mean, don't get me wrong, I love having the new books, but it's not that hard to generate creatures.

I've never felt disrespected by FFG. Sorry you feel that way. But what exactly do you want them to say? A splashy front page announcement -- "Koronus Bestiary -- now delayed!" It's "on the boat," meaning it will get here when it gets here.

In the mean time may I suggest…playing games? Which I presume you're interested in, since you're here…

The Earth goes around the Sun, fish live in the sea, Serpent complains about how FFG does anything.

This is the natural way of things.

More on-topic - apparently the copies released were done so by accident, and it wasn't intended, and the release should be expected in the next month or so.

But if they were able to be released, then why can't the others? I mean, i thought FFG had all their stuff printed in china then shipped via boat to their HQ then distributed world wide… for Australia to have received early copies it means they must have shipped directly from the printers to Australia? I would much rather see a 1% cost increase in exchange for prompt deliveries of stock (i live in the UK and we get everything about 2 months after its available in the US)

WhYYY!!!!! www.youtube.com/watch

Oh joy. according to Amazon, the publication date isn't until January of next year -__-

Don't trust Amazon release dates. They're hopeless.

I've got my copy on order at a place that said 'in stock'… so we'll see how that goes.

I just knew those book selling bastards just love the hundreds of dollars I give 'em each year and slipped poor old me a copy on time (early? Yeah right I'm down the arsehole end of the universe here. If it wasn't for a number of really **** movies and dumb tv shows involving bitey animals none of you would know it exists!)

Actually having seen similar things at work involving the logistics monkeys running around our warehouses, shrieking, wailing and buggering around on forklifts, to get something this late usually involves someone really dumb, just f*cking it all up Departmento Munitorium style.

The books ship seperately, I know that quite a few of the books have been available in the UK before the US, I know I brought them (specifically of the top of my head, Rites of battle, Into the storm and first founding).

Does depend on where you shop, Brick and mortar stores genereally get them before online retailers (why the best online retailers have a real life shop as well gets them on the first list)

And for the good news, Esdevium, the british distributor has just put up their list of releases for next week that include the Koronus Bestiary.

Esdevium has this on their release sheets for next week.

I have my copy since the 13th of June but there are some books that get released in the US first and we get them a month later. I like the book and the ideas but the Sslyth? Come on, snake people, with guns? Realy? I remeber them from the old Dark Eldar codex but I always found them out of place in 40k. Why oh why do they have to be found in the Koronus Expanse?

Well mine shipped yesterday. Hopefully I'll have it by Monday.

My pondering is the release of the PDF (I own an iPad and don't have a car. Gaming gets real heavy otherwise.)

Well my copy showed up. I guess Australia did get it first for some reason.

Depend which part you're talking about because here in Scandinavia it hasn't been released yet.

Poland - Central Europe, like I said i have my copy since the 13th of June (arrived with other 40k RPG books I ordered a while ago).

I like it (hate the Sslyth though ), and I had to change a plot regarding the Yu'vath a bit after what I found in the book .

There are some on Amazon.co.uk at the moment - I put my order through last night, so I should be fully up to speed within a week (I hope).

All best,

David.
