Ser Davos and Demons Dance Timing Question

By potatoechip99, in 2. AGoT Rules Discussion

Ser Davos says: Response: Kneel Ser Davos Seaworth to save an attachemnt on a character from being discarded from play. Then attach it to another character, if able.

Demons Dance says: Response: After the season changes to Winter or Summer, kill attached character (Cannot Be Saved).

My question is if I have just used a mechanism such as Crown of Azor Ahai to change the season AND Demons Dance is attached to an opponents character AND I use Davos to save the attachement from becomming Moribund after the character is killed.. Will I then be able to immediately trigger Demons dance again after attaching it to a new character? Just curious in case this comes up in gameplay?

Thanks!

No you cannot. From the FAQ:

(2.4) Responses Per Trigger
If a response or passive ability is triggered, the
effect can only occur once per trigger.

Because Demon's Dance does not leave play, it remembers that it was already triggered and killed someone. Therefore it cannot "retrigger" to kill the next character it is attached to after it is saved by Davos.

Ahh yeah, forgot about that rule. Thanks for the quick answer.
