I have finished painting a mess of Axis models.

They aren't stunningly painted, but they are more than good enough for tabletop standard.

Quite nice for tabletop quality. It makes a big difference when you get the force painted up, they look so much better on the battlefield and it makes it easier to tell which unit is which.

I like the dark red armor. I might have to give that a try.

It is stupidly easy. It's Khorne Red (new GW Base Colour), then washed with a liberal coat of Nuln Oil (new GW Shade). I could do more to the models, but I like the grimy look to them.
