Non martell cards in Princes of the Sun?

By tastyday, in 1. AGoT General Discussion

Why does Princes of the Sun expansion pack include non martell cards? The other deluxe expansions don't seem to have that.

I am trying to make balanced decks for all the houses with two cores, princes of the sun, and kings of the sea. Should I just remove these extra cards? If so what should I put in their place to put it back at 60 cards?

There are non Martell cards in PotS because of marketing. If there is a non Martell card in there that you like, you may buy it even though you don't play Martell.

I would highly reccomend getting the Mountains of the Moon chapter pack for the Knights of the Hollow Hill agenda. It allows you to get the influence you need for Red Vengance and The Prince's Wrath.

For what to do with the neutral cards, I would see which house needs them the most to get to 60 cards.

Kings of the Sea does as well: the Kings (and Queen) who gain abilities when they are the only King (or Queen) in play (but aren't useless when they aren't).

The Core Set and any of the deluxe expansions don't have 60 cards per pack to make a 60 card deck because each 60 card pack also includes 7 plots. So, to get your decks up to 60 cards, I recommend adding duplicate cards in for key unique cards or decent non-unique cards.

With the Kings of the Sea and Princes of the Sun, you can use the other 2 60 card packs it comes with to do this to bring the deck up to 60 cards.

With the Core Set, you'll need more than one core set to accomplish this without buying any CPs or deluxe expansions.

Kings of the Sea also includes alternate titles for Kingsmoot (a variant of melee).
