If you platy the event card Patience in conjunction with a unique character who has 1 or 2 duplicates on it, what happens to the duplicates, do they go back in your hand as well or discard pile?
Patience event card + Duplicates
They would get discarded.
Of course you COULD discard a duplicate to save the character, but I don't see why'd you'd save a character you yourself targeted.
