Hello, guys, i just bought the core set, and king of the seas expansion, i want to know if this is enough for me, and 3 friends to play and have fun, without any intention of going on competitive levels, my friends doesnt have any kind of cars, so whay i want know is this enough to play or i going to notice thar the are a lots of cards missing, and the game is unbalanced???

First of all, welcome to the game. I got into the LCG by playing a core set with friends and haven't looked back since.

Second, if all you're looking to do is play some fun games with friends, then a core set alone is enough for that. Adding in any of the deluxe expansions (Kings of the Sea, Princes of the Sun, Kings of the Storm, Lions of the Rock, Queen of Dragons, Kings of the Storm) will only give you more fun options. If you want to look at specific cards before you decide what to purchase, take a look at cardgamedb.com. It has a great card database, and it can be organized by set. Click on the blue eye near the top of the page for a listing of AGOT expansions, then click on the individual sets for full spoilers of the cards in that set.

As a last piece of unbidden advice, use these boards to get more advice, particularly if you're looking to build decks out of more than just your core set.

Good luck!

Just to echo what Shenanigans said, Core Set alone is enough to have a good time. In fact, before you buy any more cards, I'd recommend that you explore the full potential of the core (and Greyjoy box, if you already purchased that deluxe expansion). For example, try swapping plots and neutral cards into different decks. I find that Valar Morghulis, in particular, is a much better plot for the Lannister Core Set deck than it is for the Stark deck. Similarly, Bodyguard (neutral attachment in House Targ box) might be better in the Bara deck.

Have fun!

As has already been said, you can have plenty of fun with just the core set. As a side note, since Kings of the Sea has 3x of each card, you may find that it makes GJ a bit stronger than other houses. A second core set or placing some limits on the GJ deck may help keep things balanced.

Ok, so may be to balance things with greyjoys, i should use only one deck of the three that comes on King of the sea expansion.

1x Kings of the sea makes them really suck because they have a lot of shadows and neutrals that don't really fit well, plus they'll be under count because of the dual-house cards that come for other houses. The core Bara and Targ decks have a precedence of duplicates, so it wouldn't be bad to throw in additional copies of something like Victarion or Balon, or some more cheap characters instead of those shadows or neutrals.

I ve played Baratheon vs Stark, it was balanced, but Lanister vs Targaryen was unbalanced, because lanister kicks targaryen ass with deadly characters, Illin Payne, And other event cards, its like targaryen are very weak.

Does somebody knows what i should, or how i have to build the decks to get a Greyjoy, Baratheon, Lanister, Stark, and Targaryen balanced cards??
