I mean its a pretty paint job if your lazy and don't want to paint your models lol but I would rather spend 1/2 as much and just paint it myself lol.

I used to feel this way as well. Then I did the math on how long it would take me to paint the same model to the same level, and multiplied the hours by how much I make per hour, and decided it was cheaper for me to buy the Premium versions and spend the time I would take to paint them actually playing the game. While some folks are free to call it lazy, I prefer the terms economical, fiscally responsible, and efficient use of time. cool.gif

What he said ^^^^^^^^!

I suppose it depends how much you enjoy painting. I only get to play the game occasionally, so painting ends up being a big part of how I enjoy the game. In fact, as a board game player, the prices for these miniatures seem quite expensive (way more than most board game expansions cost) but I end up seeing it worth it because I not only get time spent playing the game but I also get time painting the minis, so that makes it worth the cost.

What he said also works for me too!

I abhor painting vehicles, but love painting infantry models. So all my allies are premium walkers and hand painted infantry and heroes. The extra cost is worth me not having to paint a vehicle.

I'm the exact opposite. I love painting tanks (probably stems from my 30+ years as a military static model builder) but don't like painting the soldiers.

I like painting both infantry and vehicles … go figure!

Saved the "Zverograd Pattern" pics last week to use as inspiration when painting my Axis armour. The troops already have a fall camo look to 'em.
