Revised Core Set squad values

I plan on dismissing the Hammers and Rhino from my RCS - I don't like the power-armor like outlook of the allied A3 troops, and I game just for fun, no real competition - and substituting them with some A1 troops and a couple of heroes scratch built from the box of plastic multi-component WW2 allied infantry by Wargames factory that's on the way to my home, across the pond.

Axis troops I feel are more appropriate to sport some cutting edge Vrill tech A3 infantry, so Lara and… and… and… uuuugh, I don't know.

The Heavy Flak Grenadiers are really cool, seem to have an interesting game style behind them (damage resilient A3 firing at unmoving targets and then reloading) and feature an historically-based weapon, always a plus. Their points value is closer the the one of the Hammers unit card.

The Heavy Laser Grenadiers are even more cool-looking and I know from battlefield experience how their weapons could be effective - but they could easily make obsolete my Hermann Light Walker, which I hold dear. Their anti-tank ability is more similar the one seen on the Hammers unit card.

I understand that the Hammers+Rhino fill a very different niche from the Axis A3 troops with their jump movement and CC abilities, but I also wonder which one would be the closest equivalent (efficiency-wise) amongst the Heavy Flak and Heavy Laser Grenadiers. Because there's also a box of plastic multi-component WW2 axis infantry that's incoming, and having at least one squad of A1 troops for each side would be thematically nice.

To sum up: the Hammers and Rhino's fate is sealed, and they will be substituted by two or three A1 custom built squads + two A1 custom built heroes. Lara and at least one A3 axis squad will stay, and the other will switch place with one or two A1 custom built squads; unfortunately, I can't decide which A3 axis squad will go and which one will stay.
