(Note: This is meant for JOUST)
So I am moderetly experienced with GoT but I wanted to try my hand at making a new style of deck (or maybe it's just new to me). I wanted to use the Power gain from The White Book Agenda, low initiative/high claim plots, and the unpredictable destruction of Targ Burn. The Burn will make it hard for my opponent to judge how much to commit. However, if he over-commits then he gets hurt by claim 2 counter-attack (and possibly lose valuable characters to Sun Stroke). So this all sounds good in theory to me, the problem is execution.
So the two issues I'm running into are cost of Kingsguard and my inability to save them. The Kingsguard are expensive and I don't have a lot of ways to reduce their costs. If anyone has suggestions for that please let me know. Second, my only options for saving them are Retreat and Narrow Escape. I'm leaning towards Narrow Escape because it will help me much more if my opponent Valars (or just goes on a tear), and making him discard his deck will be much more destructive in his attempt at a comeback.
Finally, does anyone have suggestions on "must haves" or "avoids?" Once I get some feedback I'll be sure to post up the sample deck for further critiqueing, thank you.
