Reprint June 2012

By Dcal12, in Dust Warfare

"Upcoming" lists a Reprint for Dust Warfare to be released in June 2012. Would that give them enough time to make fixes or would this be an exact reprint of the first run?

I am glad to see it sold out so well that it had to have a reprint.

My guess will be a straight reprint without fixes

I would guess that they would add the fixes from the errata as it wold be an easy set of fixes to the PDF sent over to the printers. The benefits of using digital printing allow for quick changes to be made as long as they don't mess up the page layout or, worse yet, page count.

If they were going to do so, they'd have made the fix in the PDF copy they are selling online at Wargame Vault. Since they didn't, I strongly predict they won't fix it for this printing. I really believe they'll just add an Erratta set to the Zverograd book.

If they do make the changes instead of lamenting over my edition having errors in it I look at it as I just gained a "Collectors Edition" :-D

I bet they won't fix the mistakes.

They might fix spelzen ererz.

You guess wrong, to do that they have to redue the book. Either by adding more pages and changing there cost for printing the book, or retypeset the whole book to fit in the amount of pages the book already come with adding to there in house cost. Either way it be more cost for them, meaning they have to pass it on to use some how.

Typos could certainly be fixed without changing the layout.

Ambiguous rules that need their text updated would be more difficult.

I doubt that the reprint will contain any changes though. Good for them if it does, though.
