Best and worst Heroes

Who do you think has the best and worst hero units?

I'd say the best is kerrigan...she just seems so good on paper.

The worst would have to be the Norad II in my opinion. It's just a battlecruiser with extra health.

Oh and I'll make a new category, the most interesting and I'd give that award to Torrasque. A respawning Ultralisk is pretty funny.

I will play BW first tomorrow, but I thing Torrasque is very overpowered. In other words he cant die. happy.gif

But Zeratul seems good to me as well. He has got cloaking and at the start of the battle which he participate in destroys a ground unit. So after the first look at the hero cards I would say Zeratul is my favourite hero, but other heroes are very good too.

Yeah he can't die effectively but he doesn't get any other bonuses at all so he is just an Ultralisk and they're not too hard to bring down. :)

I suppose it depends how much people have teched by the time stage 2 rolls around.

kerrigan is the best but she has disadvantages, she is an ifested terran so she has no support value, and if she dies you are stuck with two useless tech cards in your combat deck. Remember that the burrow tech also works with her.

Zeratul is amazing particularly when you combo him with zealots+leg enhancement, nothing can really survive having to sacrifice two units when you attack them. It is also worth noting that if you use the extra resource stage one leadership card and zeratul you can get a dark archon without ever building your stage three gateway. You just have to be willing to sacrifice poor zeratul for it.

pheonix is also very powerful, being able to use templar techs with a dragoon is nutty.

garinthor is pretty cool but doesn't shine unless you get increased carrier capacity.

The rest of the heroes are alright, Torrasque isn't actually all that good unless you get him killed every turn.

Burrow (if this card wan't replaced in BW) works only on Zerglings, Hydralisks, Defilers, not on Infested Terrans.

Fist place to Fenix because of his versality (ground and air attack ability), cards of HT and strenght against air units. You just need to research required cards. Raynor is so high here because of his influence on all skirmishes + Spider Mines.

First place obvious - he's almost immortal. I put flying heroes higher, because less units can attack them. BCs are here better than Gantrithor because of more possibilities to increase health (repair cards + Defensive Matrix). I don't think killing Zeratul is difficult, if you only have some detectors, and / or strong flying units.

I thought they had updated the burrow card I'll check when I get home.

Kerrigan should use the major values of the Burrow card I thought, so she would start with a 0 attack and a health she might not be liking as much as others. She definately wouldn't get the cloaking advantage from this card though as it is only for Zergling, Hydralisk, and Defilers. But this is why she has the "Psi Storm with Cloaking" Cards.

Regarding Zeratul and dark archons: to make a dark archon only requires 1 Dark Templar. So you could actually do it with the Tassadar Orbital platform starting laedership card since it does give you a Dark Templar. And you wouldn't have to kill Zeratul either!

darn I need to actually read the tech cards. I was making assumptions from the video game where infested terrans can burrow and you need two dark templar.
