did you happen to play a solo-game to Talisman ?
If yey you indicate to me that rules and objectives you are given ?

I bring this up beacouse I just discovered Talisman few weeks ago (for now I have "The Higlands" and "The Reaper") and I like it so much but do not always find friends to play with!

I have play a solo game today and yesterday.

My goal is to defeat a endboss ( like the Ice Queen) within a hour.

You are only playing with one character that you like.

You must move the reaper or the werewolf always towards your character.

I have won today with my Fortune Knight, and beat the Ice queen . It was so EPIC!

If the time limit has ended, then you are teleported to the Crown of Command.

By the way, I have made a cd with music from Soul Calibur to make the adventure more exciting!

Oh, and another thing.

You don't need a talisman for solo gaming, because it is all about adventure and level up your character fast within the time limit.

You are teleported after a hour ( if you are still alive) to the Crown of Command.

What about spells? Some must be targeted at other players, do you just recycle them ?

Oh yeah, it's amazing!

I chose "The Dwarf" from 3 random characters card. In 45 minutes I defeat easily the "Eagles King" (sorry 4 translation but I have the Italian version).

In my humble opinion it was pretty easy but I would play more times to see how thei end. How characteristics has the "Ice Queen" ?

The Ice Queen is also strength 12/craft 12. same as eagle king. But they have different text if you are defeated.

I have play 2 solo games so far, with 1 character, and i died one time. So it was not so easy:)

But second time, i won with the same character:)

You could do the same if you encounter adventure cards that has only a target player effect.

I've never thought of this, but I kind of like it. Do you use the Highlands/Dungeon when you play solo?

Tonight I have a session with Troll. I think I was very lucky because after 20 min I already had the "war horse" and "racing horse"; In 31 minutes I came to the "king of eagles" attacking with base 22!

I have played with both Higland board & Reapers cards.

This last weekend I played with my 6 year old granddaughter, which

is almost like playing solo ! But actually more fun. She reads a little, so the main titles are possibly readable for her, but we just have fun; she understands the concepts of battling the enemy cards and

we do use the dungeon and highland boards.

Winning is when we encounter each other - land on each other's space, and fight.

You know she always wins!
