Hello everybody,

I recently bought the "Black Goat of the Woods" expansion and i noticed that only the two .357 Magnum common item cards are marked with the expansion's icon, the other nine items are not. Is this a misprint or are they supposed to be like this? Anyone else encounter this?

Yeah that sounds like a misprint. I'm pretty sure all my BGotW cards have the icon.

You could ask FFG to send you corrected versions, and they'd probably do it. But tbh it doesn't make much difference to the game so if it was me I wouldn't bother.

Well, i thought as much:P I have no intention of asking ffg for replacements since this is indeed a trivial matter, but i was mostly curious if this was a known/widespread misprint (such as the purple dot on "the underworld" in kingsport)

It's not just the dot… I think the 'colour balance' was slightly off for the whole Kingsport board, so all the blue is ever-so-slightly desaturated? But the dot is the place where it's most obvious. My Dunwich board is the same. It might have been corrected in reprints.

You may be right about Kingsport, i haven't really thought of the color balance before. And yes, Dunwich was corrected in reprints, mine is ok. However, other mistakes got through, such as the famous Leo Anderson "once per game" skill and ms Fine's "Phychic" occupation:P (i'm a proud owner of those misprints:) )

Still, i don't really hold them against FFG, looking at the massive game content in each expansion, misprints are bound to happen. I'm hooked though, in less than 3 months i got the game plus all the expansions and i play 4/5 times every week, so they must have gotten something right.

I asked about the Black Goat because it seems i'm the only one with that particular misprint. I'm guessing i'm a little special because of that. )
